Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join us as our Multi Academy Trust CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall management of the trust. They will ensure that all schools within the trust are working towards the same objectives and providing high-quality education to their students. This is a challenging and rewarding role for a dynamic individual with a proven track record of successful leadership within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set the strategic direction of the MAT, in line with the vision and values of the trust, and ensure that it is communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
2. Lead the development and implementation of strategies to achieve the MAT’s goals and monitor progress against targets.
3. Ensure that budgets are set and managed effectively across all schools within the trust, and that resources are allocated appropriately to support the delivery of high-quality education.
4. Ensure that the MAT operates in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and work closely with the board of trustees to ensure that policies and procedures are effective and up-to-date.
5. Build effective partnerships with other stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and community groups, to support the achievement of the MAT’s goals.
6. Work with other education providers to share best practices and improve educational outcomes across the trust.
7. Recruit, manage, and develop staff across all schools within the trust, ensuring that they are motivated and supported to deliver high-quality education.
8. Act as a figurehead for the trust, promoting its values and achievements to the wider community.
9. Qualifications and Skills:

Key skills and qualifications:

1. A proven track record of successful leadership within the education sector, with experience of managing multiple schools within a trust preferred.
2. Excellent strategic planning and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
3. Strong financial management skills, with experience of managing budgets and resources effectively.
4. A good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements within the education sector.
5. Excellent partnership working skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
6. Excellent staff management and development skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff to deliver high-quality education.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a figurehead for the trust.
8. Education and Experience:
9. A degree in education or a related field.
10. A teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
11. Significant experience of successful leadership within the education sector, including experience of managing multiple schools within a trust.
12. A proven track record of delivering high-quality education outcomes for students.
